Since I have some items you don't see often, in some cases research was a little difficult. So, I may be low on some things and I'd appreciate hearing from you if that is the case, but I don't mind if you snap them up! I may also be high on some other items and I'm sure I'll hear about it. Talk to me! All prices are subject to change without notice. Descriptions and condition adjectives
I come from an era in the American
vintage guitar scene when it was fairly commonplace to actually
find vintage guitars in great condition. Back then when we said
mint, it meant mint and near mint meant the same thing with perhaps
some shop wear or a very small ding or 2 (or 3). Excellent meant
used but functionally intact and cosmetically appealing. Very
good or good meant that the instrument had significant wear, structural
alterations, changed parts and so on. Then, as now, NOS meant new
old stock, which means it has never been put into use.
Today of course many people have taken to abusing these description terms. I've seen instruments described as excellent which have been refinished and have severe structural problems. However I see no reason for me to change the way I've described parts and instruments for the last 30 years. Accordingly, on this site the "old school" adjectives will still have their original meaning. Terry Mueller's Contact Info
As I mentioned on my home page, I
am no longer in the vintage guitar business, so I am not buying and
selling. I have had a little free ad in the back of Vintage
Guitar since 1993 and often people will call asking for a certain part.
Since my inventory is static, I have always referred people
looking for something I don't have to Terry Mueller, who has been in
the business for a very long time and is still very active. In
case you don't know him, Terry is reliable and knows his stuff!
Even with today's scarcity of original parts, Terry has a good
shot at finding what you need. He is in the Midwest and can be
reached at: (618) 529 2844 by phone or by email at:

My ebay account
Although I don't usually sell guitars or parts on ebay, I've used ebay as both a buyer and seller on miscellaneous items. Check out my feedback, I'm 123cobra on the bay. Customer Feedback 06/20/07

Cheers, Stephen Toronto, Ont. 12/24/08 Hi Bernie, I mounted the pickups in the neck and bridge position of a 62 RI and they are sounding fantastic! Just like a Strat ought to sound, as you said. This is one significant expense I am thoroughly happy with. Now I will need a pre cbs pickup for the mid position! Take care, C. Lee Singapore 4/17/2010 |
