Item # Description Price
57
Gibson mini humbucker mounting ring, cream, early 70's.  It has a glob of ancient epoxy around the bottom of one of the mounting screw holes and a little around the top of the same hole.  No cracks but it looks like a screw might have been pulled through the hole, then this epoxy repair made.  The repair is cosmetically noticeable up close but appears to be structurally stable.  Very good condition with a cool aged patina! $25.00
127
Gibson Les Paul stop tailpiece, gold, 70's, some surface scratches but the plating is all intact, heavy, excellent, $25.00
10
Gibson Kluson Deluxe strip tuners as on 50's Juniors, nickel, single line, excellent++, just a few spots of oxidation, all buttons clean, shafts are straight, these tuners are tight, it doesn't get any better than this, no screws or bushings $150.00

Gibson Les Paul Junior pickguard from original 58-60 double cutaway model, 1/8" thick black plastic, original and perfect in excellent + condition $450.00

Interesting pair of hand carved Gibson style humbucker rings.  I took these off a Les Paul some 20+ years ago, they look like oak and even have a slight curve carved into the bottom of them.  Unique! $10.00
211
late 70's original Gibson archtop tuneamatic base, rosewood, NOS $25.00
95

set of six original matching gold plated PAF polepiece screws, the plating is intact, these are really clean, excellent++ $50.00

perfect late 50's original nickel Gibson stop tailpiece, near mint with just the vaguest shadow of a top wrap long ago.  The tailpiece weighs 1.1 oz.  Throat depth slightly thicker on one side (0.288" and 0.270").  Measure your studs carefully.  String holes and countersinks drilled very close to the lower edge on this tailpice, see pictures.  Excellent original condition $1750.00
802

A single nickel plated original Gibson stop tailpiece stud, 9/32" ear spacing.  The actual stud length is 7/8".  This appears to be an original 1" stud that was cut down to 7/8" for some reason.  Beautiful condition with near mint nickel plating. $50.00

an IRC 500k pot.  I have read that these were used in Gibson guitars, but I can't really remember where I got this or what it may have been installed in.  The source material I have indicates IRC had a different dating scheme than other pots and according to what I have, this pot would be from 1961.  The markings on the plastic part say IRC, made in USA and the stamped markings on the side of the pot are CTS 615 7604  500k A 6105
Does the A mean audio taper?  Please email or call if you have better info on this pot.
$35.00
809
one complete set of 4 brass bobbin screws from an original PAF pickup, perfect $35.00
153
a stash of 70's excellent quality braided shielding single conductor, 0.105" OD.  This wire is great for any project requiring braided wire.  It is close to, but is not the wire that Gibson used.  The braided shielding is tighter and the insulation is plastic coated white cloth.  I would not recommend this wire for any vintage restoration, but it is the functional equivalent of the wire Stew Mac sells, except this looks more authentic without the black plastic over the braid.  I have about 20 ft and I'll sell it for the same price as Stew Mac, per foot $0.60
805
a star washer and a guitar output jack nut from some old guitar, I can't remember which one but if you have an old guitar and want an old washer and nut, this will be perfect $10.00
812
From some long forgotten humbucker pickup surgeries come these remnants:  one 5.5" and one 3" length of PAF pigtail with the correct paper tape, as well as one 11" length of later shiny black plasticized tape.   I don't recall anything about these, I just found them in a film canister going through stuff here. $15.00
44
a clean and perfect pair of black M69's.   Please refer to the Les Paul Forum for a detailed analysis of what to look for on these surrounds.  Excellent original condition.  HOLD  12/18/09 $150.00
818
early 80's NOS Gibson nickel round head Phillips, 1/2" long.  I think I ordered these because they were slightly stronger than the flimsy ones supplied with the Schaller tuning keys I used to install.  Maybe they are stronger, but I wouldn't really tighten them down, just to be safe.  14 available, price each $0.50
816
NOS early 80's Gibson nickel humbucker polepiece screws.  These look good and are dimensionally correct.  Bear in mind the beveled top does not look anything like a PAF polepiece screw.  Original Gibson part # is 24-70268 (on the original parts envelope, the only reason I know this trivia!)
13 available, price each
$3.50
835
original Gibson 50's nickel tune-a-matic bridge saddle.  This is the early "chisel blade" version, that is there is no flat area on top of the saddle.  Of course 50's guitars had big flatwound strings, so this one has a big groove in the saddle.  Otherwise there is very little wear on this item and the plating is excellent. $25.00
856
Tuner bushings used on some 60's Gibson guitars, chrome.  Excellent condition, 3 available.  Price each $10.00
842
one complete set of 6 Gibson tuner bushings, nickel.  They made quite a few versions of these but this set has 1/4" diameter shaft holes, bushings are 5/16" tall $25.00
844
another set of 6 nickel tuner bushings, similar to 842 but slightly cleaner, these are from back when everybody wanted Grovers and Schaller tuners! $45.00
850
original Gibson chrome humbucker bobbin screws, NOS from the late 70's, early 80's, 2 sets of 4 available available, price per set $10.00
832
a stash of NOS Gibson trussrod nuts from 1980 or so, price each $5.00
836
NOS Gibson early 80's nickel TOM saddles, blade style with narrow ledge, one of them has slightly rounder corners, price each $10.00
849
aftermarket gold anodized aluminum Les Paul jackplates, NOS from back in the early 80's, price each $3.00
853
I put these under Gibson, but could just as well be under Fender.  Some old jack nuts I took off of old guitars at one time or another for who knows what reason.  Funky and original, take your pick of 3 available.  Price each $5.00
840
funky original Gibson bevel top TOM adjustment wheel, the gold is losing its luster but if you need one for a Bigsby guitar, here it is, 70's, very good $5.00
830
Gibson nickel tune-a-matic saddle screws, nickel, bevel head wire version, excellent original condition, price each $5.00
839
Does anybody know what tune-a-matic version these saddles belong to?    Please email me.  Early 80's (?) nickel, price each
831

Gibson early 80's replacement pearloid fingerboard dots, 1/4" diameter, 5/64" thick, NOS, price each $0.50
822
set of 6 gold Gibson TOM saddle screws, late 70's , early 80's, excellent $20.00
820
Gibson gold TOM saddles, late 70's or early 80's, plating excellent, 2 available, price each $5.00
858
The mint Grover gold washers and screws are here because nobody puts Grovers on Fenders.  I don't know where these came from but if you want to spruce up a guitar  here they are, late 70's early 80's, excellent $5.00
838
NOS Gibson chrome tune-a-matic height adjustment wheels, early 80's NOS, price per pair $5.00
167
An absolutely pristine set of four matched 50's Gibson tophat knobs, nice amber patina, as close to mint as possible, it just doesn't get any better than this! Excellent original near mint condition. $325.00
117

Original Gibson 50's light stop tailpiece, nickel, pristine near mint example.  This has been in the vault for a long time, I don't think you can find a better one.  It weighs 1 oz.  Throat depth is 0.260 on both sides, just a hair over 1/4", if you want to make sure your vintage studs fit.   $2750.00
863
original Gibson 50's  toggle switch tips as found on many Gibson models,  price each $250.00
191
matching pair of 50's/ early 60's Gibson nickel stop tailpiece studs, full 1" threaded shank.  0.290" throat depth.  On one of the tops of this pair the slot is cut off slightly off-center, interesting anomaly, see pictures.  Excellent original condition $250.00
